N2 - In recent years, many studies have been carried out to investigate methodologies for a problem-solving mechanism that uses interconnected computer resources. As one solution, studies of multi-agent systems which can do intelligent processing and provide flexibility to absorb the constant changes of distributed computing environment have been specifically examined. The framework that supports and facilitates such intelligent operations is known as an "Agent Platform" and various platforms such as DASH, SAGE, and JADE have been developed. In this study, we particularly address the interoperability among agents that are situated in different platforms. This paper proposes a flexible interoperability mechanism among heterogeneous agents, which enables efficient development and maintenance process of agent systems. And we demonstrate the experimental results to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
