Abstract

The acoustic de Haas-van Alphen effect of the heavy fermion compound CeB6 and the reference system LaB6 has been measured. A pronounced enhancement of the electron-strain interaction in particular regions on the Fermi surface of LaB6 has been found. The spin splitting of the electron pocket in CeB6 has been discussed.
