Ac-Susceptibility Study of Ising Spin Glasses: FeXTis2

Abstract

For Ising spin glasses FexTiS2 (x=0.05, 0.1, 0.2), to investigate the temperature dependence of the relaxation time, ac-susceptibility measurements are made. Frequency dependences of spin glass transition temperatures defined by the maximum of the ac-susceptibility are analyzed by four conventional equations. The appropriate equation for jt=0.05 and x=0.l is the power law (for finite T*). For x=0.l it seems that the Fulcher law also describes the data. The appropriate equation for x=0.2 is the Fulcher law. The results of the analyses suggest the existence of clusters of Fe-spins for high-Fe concentrations.
