Abstract

We developed stacked two-layered electrodes having predesigned patterns that applied two different voltages across the electrodes’ surfaces and fabricated ferroelectric liquid crystal (FLC) arrays using the electrodes showing clear checkered pattern with a 1 × 1-µm pitch. Furthermore, we demonstrated a holographic 3D image reconstruction using the FLC array.
