A systematic approach to synthesis of limit cycle-free digital filters under constant input conditions is proposed. Structures of limit cycle-free digital filters under constant input conditions are easily led from structures of limit cycle-free digital filters under zero input conditions. There exist various realizations which can suppress limit cycles for constant input signals.
