Abstract
A flow through type experimental reaction system was developed to simulate water-rock interaction in the upper crust conditions. The newly designed apparatus enables flow through experiments to be conducted under compressed conditions at high temperature. Specification is as follows: temperature to 300°C, confining pressure to 40MPa, axial loads to 250MPa, and flow velocities from 1 cm/min to 0.0001 cm/min. -Authors
