N2 - Startup and shutdown procedure of Accelerator-Driven System (ADS) are studied. In this study, using ADS dynamics calculation code DSE that can analyze the ADS dynamics accompanied with the accelerator and the reactor parameters, the behavior of power with these parameters was examined. Based on the examination, we proposed a startup procedure for the Pb-Bi ADS by mainly controlling the target level. The procedure is numerically examined and the result confirms that the proposed procedure is adequate, hopeful and satisfactory for the startup of ADS.
