A new two-band system of d and π with interband H bridges

The optical, electrical resistivity, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) measurements on [M(H2DAG)(HDAG)]TCNQ (M = Ni, Pd, Pt, H2DAG = diaminoglyoxime) have been made under low temperature. The results show unusual behavior around 250 K. In the case of Pt or Pd complex, it exhibits MII-IV mixed valency below 250 K. The optical and transport properties are discussed.
