N2 - We have made magnetization measurements under pulsed magnetic fields on a S=12kagomé antiferromagnet [Cu3(titmb)2(OCOCH 3)6] ·H2O. A magnetization plateau with one-third of the saturation moment has been observed in a certain range of field sweep rates at 100 mK. This transient phenomenon of the magnetization is analyzed using an exact diagonalization method and found to be due to the meta-stable states originating from frustration.
