N2 - The bulk amorphous alloys CeCu and CeRu prepared by dc sputter-deposition show a heavy fermion-like behavior, which is characterized to be the dense impurity Kondo system more enhanced than the crystalline counterparts. However, the CeRu amorphous alloy shows a broad maximum in the electrical resistivity around 35 K, suggesting the formation of a coherent Kondo state even in the lack of the long-range periodicity of atomic arrangement.
