Abstract
A 14-year old girl presented with lower abdominal pain. CT scans demonstrated a cyst-like tumor at the Douglas's pouch. T2-weighted axial MR images demonstrated a dilatated tubular structure and normal ovaries. T2-weighted sagittal MR images revealed the mucosal folds at the inner border of tubular structure, suggesting that it was fallopian tube. Seven days after the onset of symptom, the patient underwent the laparoscopic resection and was diagnosed with isolated fallopian tube torsion. The wall of fallopian tube showed necrosis.
