A 6 kHz linewidth, injection-locked LD using a master erbium fiber laser

Abstract

We demonstrate the 66 to 6 kHz linewidth reduction of a commercial LD with injection locking using a master fiber laser. The LD was phase-locked to a master laser with a 0.2-degree phase noise.
